I remember that this tourist family went to the beach near my house and the kids ran STRAIGHT INTO THE WATER
and they proceeded to immediately sprint of the water. They told their dad that they wanted to go back to the hotel.
There’s a tsunami siren right outside of the middle school and they tested it every Friday.

I liked it because I could swim around without surfers constantly speeding several inches from my nose.
I went one Friday during the summer and I completely forgot about the siren. I heard it go off and while the tourists were sprinting up the bike path, I just thought:
Oh yeah! That existed
