No they worry about the crocodile war
Yeah…but everything else in the state…
Nah, Utah is 10/10.
Mountains, rivers, snow, desert, close to many other states, mild winters in most places, not many natural disasters.
You guys should consider Texas. Really not cold in Winter, perfect
Nope. We have hurricane proof houses. My house can withstand a Cat 5
It’s very hot in the Winter here in California, trust me.
Tornadoes, hurricanes, no thanks.
The last time I went, it’s really not that hot afaik
Did you travel to SD?
Also I would rather go to Rhode Island/New Hampshire because they were just as nice.
Nope. I don’t think we’re going in the future

Earthquakes are not bad
Why are people so afraid of them
Good job, great state!
Because some earthquakes are bad, especially the ones that hit third-world countries. Plus, the media portrays them as very bad.
Yeah but you are far more likely to be murdered in LA than die in an earthquake
And LA’s crime rate isn’t bad like other cities
Oh yeah, but that’s because LA has the economy to build structures that can withstand earthquakes, thus reducing casualties.
Here’s an earthquake in Nepal:
If that was what happens in LA then I bet you’d have a very different opinion about them. I’m not saying that we have to live in paranoia, I’m just saying that the opinion can and will change based upon where you are.
I don’t mind earthquakes
Obviously I don’t like death or destruction, and we’ve had quite a few damaging quakes.
People always make fun of CA for not liking the cold or freaking out from rain, but everyone else is terrified of earthquakes. So other states don’t have any arguments making fun of us with weather when we don’t have anything predictable
