that won’t happen but they might remove the charging port according to mkbhd which will make data transfer even harder. otherwise iphones are pretty solid phones.

also samsung is the brand with ultra models

I was looking at buying a new phone last year or something, and I thought it was the 4a that I was considering. Must have been the 5a.

consider the 7. apparently best android smartphone out there rn

Not about to spend that much on a phone. When my S8 eventually kicks the bucket, I’m just gonna look for something around lke $300.

I paid $660 for my phone almost 6 years ago and I still think that’s too much for a phone.

good luck finding a good phone for that price nowadays

actually nvm the galaxy s20 FE is getting cheaper (at least in berlin)

If I go for a flagship type, I’d look for refurbished ones, but I’m not at all opposed to getting a budget one, which is probably what I’d actually do. You can still easily get a middle-of-the-road android for $300. My dad’s 2021 A51 5G (which is faster than my phone) was $350.

the mid-range phones are really not good tbh

I don’t really need a top of the line phone though. If it will call, text, play spotify, and occasionally take a sorta blurry picture of something I need to remember, then it’s fine.

i recommend the nothing phone (1) then. pretty good midrange phone for around your price range

I want the nothing(1) (I was looking at a bunch of reviews shortly after release), but it doesn’t sound like it’ll be on the US market any time soon.
