Pretty sure it’s for pay reasons. Cause regional pilots make less than mainline (though being a regional pilot sounds like fun imo)
So the government limits what can be a regional plane/flight so airlines don’t take advantage of their employees or something

I think the E2 175 looks a little disproportionate with the engines. 190 and 195 are definitely better (but the regular 175 is better than the regular 190/195)
