767 vs 787

Yeah, that’s sorta what I meant. It could beat it by a lot, but it probably will be about the same.

I’m sorry, but that’s just not the point of the 757.

High demand.

AA uses the 787 and 777 on LAX - DFW and the 777 on PHX - DFW

UA uses the 777 to SFO from LAX (before covid)

Not very practical, so I’m guessing it was a continuation of a trans-Pacific route.

High demand is better served with high frequency smaller aircraft than one large one.

No. It was a daily route :joy:

Just like DAL using 763s and 764s constantly flying between LAX and JFK

That’s not the same in any way. LAX-JFK is 5hrs. LAX-SFO is about 1.

The 767 as a whole should come back, but definitely the -200.

Unfortunately the -200 is pretty much dead especially as a passenger aircraft. Now it’s mostly -300s and -400ERs.

I would’ve said the B763 because of Hawaiian but then I realized they’re gonna operate the B789 soon

And the 797 will most likely be a new 762 in terms of capacity and range

The first time a stretched -9 (aka the -10) was in December 2005, the A350 in its current form wasn’t even launched until July 2006

Yes because every plane needs to be able to fly half way around the world because everyone flies that everyday
