American, unlike United is taking a different approach in adding flights. Instead of United which will be adding widebody flights, in a point to point model, American decided to add large, wide-body aircraft from hubs, so more people could have connection opportunities into LAS.

They will add:

  • Boeing 777-200ERs between New York (JFK) and Las Vegas (LAS) on January 8, 9.

  • San Jose (SJC) to LAS flights on January 4, 8, 9.

  • Slightly more capacity with A321neos for LAX-LAS on January 8, 9.

Air France

Air France Will add flights from Paris to Las Vegas to take people from France to CES. It will be one round-trip flight on January 4 and January 8.

KLM

KLM will also add frequencies from Amsterdam to Las Vegas during that time.

Avelo

Avelo airlines will add flights from Redding California to Las Vegas. This will be a permanent expansion. The flights will start just in time for CES.
