CES is an anual convention taking place in Las Vegas. Huge companies attend to showcase their new products at one of the largest conventions of the year. Worldwide, it’s a tradition for airlines to add flights to Las Vegas to help accommodate people who need to get to CES. For this reason, the thread below will be tracking all the new and added frequencies for flights into Las Vegas for CES 2022.
United
United airlines will add extra frequencies to Las Vegas to accommodate for the huge spike in demand for CES 2022.
United will fly 81 flights into Las Vegas during the peak arrival days of January 3-4, and 109 flights on the peak departure days of January 8-10. New flights include:
- 8 direct flights from San Jose, Calif.
- 6 direct flights from Fort Lauderdale, Boston and Orlando
- 15 additional flights from San Francisco, and 9 flights on a larger aircraft
- 8 additional flights from Los Angeles, and 4 flights on a larger aircraft
- 5 additional flights from Washington D.C./Dulles
- 2 additional flights from New York/Newark
American
American, unlike United is taking a different approach in adding flights. Instead of United which will be adding widebody flights, in a point to point model, American decided to add large, wide-body aircraft from hubs, so more people could have connection opportunities into LAS.
They will add:
-
Boeing 777-200ERs between New York (JFK) and Las Vegas (LAS) on January 8, 9.
-
San Jose (SJC) to LAS flights on January 4, 8, 9.
-
Slightly more capacity with A321neos for LAX-LAS on January 8, 9.
Air France
Air France Will add flights from Paris to Las Vegas to take people from France to CES. It will be one round-trip flight on January 4 and January 8.
KLM
KLM will also add frequencies from Amsterdam to Las Vegas during that time.
Avelo
Avelo airlines will add flights from Redding California to Las Vegas. This will be a permanent expansion. The flights will start just in time for CES.
